Kilikanoon Wines is an award winning winery based in the Clare Valley. Our cosy cellar door is housed in the property's original stone farmhouse which was built in the 1860's. Nestled in the Skilly Valley and surrounded by pretty cottage gardens, a fruit orchard, vineyards and tall gums, it is an idyllic setting for tasting through the range of Kilikanoon wines. Open 7 days, 11am to 5pm.

Cycled here as part of a day out before Mitchell and then Skillolagee for lunch. All the wines, particularly the whites for me, were delicious. Ended up ordering couple of cases. Really well priced for the quality of the wines. You do pay tasting fee but is refunded against anything you buy and if you're a wine lover, you will... More

The wines are beyond beautiful and tasty. They are complex from the Pinot Gris to the bigger cabs. All. 15 are very good. The tasting room run by the owner is completely over the top with regional knowledge and charm!

Although there is a fee to taste the wines, this is offset against the cost of anything you buy. Some amazing wines to taste, including 'best Shiraz in the world' 2001 and 2005 at London Wine Show. This didn't disappoint!! Also some great Rieslings.

Kilikanoon still has the authentic cellar door experience! Glen was extremely passionate & knowledgeable and we spent a lovely hour tasting fabulous wines and learning about the history of the vineyard!

What a delightful surprise this cellar door is. Such a quaint little building tucked away in the bush. As soon as we entered we were made to feel so welcome. They do charge for tastings - starts at $5 per person for their entry level wines and you are able to taste 5 wines. You can be more adventurous and... More

Spent over 2 hours here as there were lots of lovely wines to try. Tegan was very knowledgeable and helpful without being a "wine snob" like you get at some cellar doors. Was quiet busy but she handled the crowd well. Free freight and some discounts available depending on how much you buy. Might be advisable to look at their... More

My partner and I saved Kilikanoon for our last stop in the Clare on our brief visit to the region. After spending a full day enjoying tastings along the Riesling trail we were excited to check out this winery. To our surprise only paid tastings were on offer. Not a problem, however as a result there was an expectation we... More

The cellar door can make or break a visitors impression of a brand. For a premium brand like Kilikanoon, this experience exceeded expectations. Wines were thoroughly explained in a cosy venue by engaging staff passionate about the brand.

We visited today, on a low power day so there was no AC and few lights on. The service was excellent. We were greeted and politely told about the power issue. There was no fee for tasting today. We tasted our way through at least 12 wines and learned a lot about the winery and the wines. In the end,... More

We rolled into the cellar door, expecting a busy counter. What we didnt expect was the ignorance of the people behind the counter. We stood, ignored completely, for at least 15 minutes while both behind the counter were involved with one party of 5 who yes were spending money but .... a simple, " we will be with you in... More
