This is one of out local pubs in the heart of an historic village. We have eaten there ourselves and at family occasion such as funerals, for many years. Staff obviously change, but they always seem pleasant, welcoming and efficient. Incidentally, the food is good!...More

Last minute booking and they managed to squeeze us in. Very helpful friendly staff. Fabulous meal, food was brilliant and the staff first class. Very knowledgeable, helpful and attentive. Particularly impressed with the Gin choice and their correct accompaniments. Tried Opihr tonight, a oriental spiced...More

We arrived at 5.45pm this evening to be turned away, because we were a family (with 3 children). The note on the front doors (which were locked) warned that admittance was at their discretion because of the nearby beer festival. Good, we thought. This means...More

Traditional pub in a tiny Kent village but well worth making the effort. Great local beers and friendly staff make it a good place for a friendly drink especially at lunch times.

Dropped in for drinks early evening. Restaurant busy and so were bar staff. However service was efficient and friendly - manager noticed I was waiting at the bar and stopped a girl collecting glasses so she could serve me. Great to see the manager do...More

I've been to The Kind & Queen pub many times with family and I love the environment, the staff is professional and organised and the place is clean and charming. The beer garden is a plus, it is definitely a must visit!
