We had lunch here last weekend on the Saturday. Having a light lunch we decided on the mussels. Not a bad size, a bit to much cream that over powered the taste, shame.

Lovely walking area with two pubs and a tearoom. Very scenic salt marsh with canal walk and lock. Large free car park which is very handy.

This is a lovely little place to either stop for a drink in the local pub or stop over at the Tiptree jam caffettiera . There are also some nice walks along the river .

Or you go to Maldon Promenade Park on the other side of the river. They have a nice lake for crabbing and model boats.
