Good selection of food and drinks. Nicely cooked and well presented. Staff are friendly and it is in a nice location especially for a walk or cycle ride.

Free car park leading straight onto path with a lovely walk all around the estuary and down the side of the canal. Plenty of boats, barges, birds, flowers to see, with many photographic opportunities. Very flat and even walk with sea, estuary and canal views.

A good place to go for a relaxing walk along the rive. Interesting lock and two pubs and a cafe for eating and drinks. Also peaceful boat trips along the river if required.

Returned to have a drink and stroll along the waters edge to find it very busy. Lovely place to visit but gets busy at peak times

One pub had a pretty bog-standard pub menu which didn't reflect the maritime nature of the area - the other had a wide choice of sea-food.
