This is a very beautiful place to go for a walk. There is a lock for you to watch comings and goings when the tide is in. Boats are moored up along the river giving you another way to walk. Or take the Dyke wall...More

Lovely little marina with a sea lock, a couple of pubs and a Tiptree Cafe. Very "low key" as most of the creeks and marinas are in this part of the world. Wonderfully under commercialised!!!

One of the best places to visit in Essex, two pubs, one excellent tea room, all good for food and refreshment, you cannot fail to find something you like here, that's apart from the views.

Or you go to Maldon Promenade Park on the other side of the river. They have a nice lake for crabbing and model boats.
