The Zoo is beautifully kept and the animals are well looked after. The day was humid and warm. Once in to the park you feel a little left on your own. Takes a while to decide where to go but need to remember the show is 12.00 and distances make you unsure what you can look at. We headed for... More

We had already been in Australia for a month and hadn't really seen many indigenous wildlife. This zoo is slightly different as it based around Steve Irvin's passion for conservation. Not every Australian creature is here but you do get a good cross section - with crocodiles, koalas and kangaroos being the largest contingent. There are various talks and shows... More

Australia Zoo is an amazing place. We had heard about it and driven past a few times but spent a very enjoyable day this month. The zoo is large and well set out. It was clean, tidy and well laid out. The staff were great and very welcoming and helpful. We were surprised at the range of animals, birds and... More

Jam packed day. Lots to see. Be prepared for lots of walking, ie take comfy shoes. Take a bottle of water, you'll only need one. Plenty of refilling stations. Mozzie repellent, I make great bait so might have been better for others. Staff did say it was particularly bad at the moment. And with the 12 o'clock show if you... More

This zoo is enormous and by far the best we have ever been too. The animals are all very spread and have great enclosures. We practically loved seeing the Zebras, Giraffes and Tigers. They have a great selection of food for sell and plenty of space for you to eat it. As you wander around the zoo there are also... More

We took our three year old boy here on a Monday morning and had a blast! They have a huge variety of animals, animal encounters, and photo opportunities. We took a photo with my wife holding a koala. Most of the zoo has an abundance of shade, but less as you approach the Africa section. They food court isn't terribly... More

Nice place and you can tell that the animals a well cared for. You can easily spend a whole day here watching the shows and learning about all the animals. It's quite pricey but still worth it

A great Monday out. I would try and get there during the week if possible as there was no queuing for anything throughout the entire day - though it was obvious that it was potentially the norm for some things at weekends. It is worth doing research on the various activities and shows that are on throughout the day in... More

Our family consisting of an almost two year old had a great day amongst the animals, birds and reptiles at Australia Zoo. It's not cheap if you want to do any extras and the merchandising is a bit brazen, but it's a great day for kids and adults alike.

Great place to walk around with the family. Staff seemed very friendly. A couple of keepers out and about with animals. Show didn't go for long enough but was still amazing. Food over priced for what you got was the only down side.
