Hotel funneled us over there for free. There are no free lunches...I think everyone gets a cut of what we spent. I was so enamoured with the idea of buying a piece of Murano glass, that I didn't ask the correct questions or notice the...More

Watching the glass blowing was interesting if not short. After that just rubbish kids activities and a horrendous customer service experience from patronising staff in the show room. They really need to work on the customer service aspect of this tour. They only seemed interested...More

We visited today at 9:30am before anyone else showed up, and they gave us a great tour of the furnaces, and we saw vases being made, along with a small horse. They showed us through the large showroom and answered our many questions about how...More

Boy, do they oversell this trip! We paid $67, plus the 7.50 Euros boat fare, to walk through Murano to this glass factory. It was sold as a "private glass-blowing demonstration," but we were sitting on bleachers with a bunch of other people, and we...More

you can email directly to the glass factory. They will provide info about visit schedule and iworkshops. Murano is an Island and estimate 35,40 minutes by boat to reach them from city center
