If you notice the scene here are just like in the advertisement they post for Mount Fuji. Stunning view every time we turned our head to view the Mount. Fuji. Need to hike a while to reach the shrine and the view point.

The park is build with a lot of paths, beautiful flowers. In spring keep in mind that in the mountains it is cooler, and the blooming starts later.

Beautiful Park to get a shot and view of Mt. Fuji, stunning view. Chureito Pagoda is in the same complex with the part.

The stone steps leading up the the pagoda require a basic good condition. Go early morning when the lighting is better and there are less tourists. In peak season watch out for zillions of tourists taking selfies while climbing the stairs and not looking out....More

Seeing this park waswell worth the train rides and the transfers from inner Tokyo. took about 3 hours but only cost less than ¥1000 about $10 unless you take this special express train back then and It'll run you about $40 still very nice train...More

The best way to look up public transporration schedules is through hyperdia. All stations have coin lockers so eaay peasy!!
