Just 20mins and a few hundred steps from kawaguchi lake, sengen shrine offers the most stunning view of Mt. FUJI. Recommended to visit during cherry blossoms or during sunset time.

Check that it's a clear day and that you have a bottle of water - it's a little steep and you want to be able to see Mt Fuji of course!

We went for sunrise which was amazing, freezing but well worth it. Quite a few steps to walk up although there is a road so you may be able to drive up.

There is a road, not sure if there’s parking though. When we went a few months ago, the road was actually blocked off with a guy directing traffic around.
