You can go across the bridge and watch scores of terns soaring around. Then...they land under the bridge! They're nesting under the bridge!!! You can get great shots of them in their nests with their babies just a few feet away. Fantastic!
Once again, tourists have this funny way of parking in the middle of the road to take a picture. Watch out for these people especially when going downhill.

The bridge offers spectacular views of both the Miyako and Kurima islands' coastlines. Walk across if you can (but that means having to walk back too), otherwise just drive -plenty of parking spots on both sides.
