The Beguinage in Lier is a must see place which makes a lovely walk. The small dwellings along the narrow streets were originally homes were for unmarried women and run by nuns. They continue to be inhabited today.

This area is hidden away, and this makes it lovely and quiet to walk around. The cobbled streets and old buildings give it a serenity and peace.

This is a quiet and peaceful place in the city. It's not that big, but nice to walk through the little cobbled streets. Go back in time ...
