Nice short trek for Kali waterfall. It is signed in the village - best to enter through the big gate, go a bit more up and leave your scooter somewhere there. There are cement stairs down so don't wander off weird paths in the jungle. It's a 20 minutes trek - it's slipper but down there it's beautiful, nature is taking over. Less maintained than Tekaan Telu but very beautiful and powerful. But, as a general issue in Indonesia, there is a lot of trash so consider taking a plastic bag and collecting some trash on the way.

We really liked visiting Kali Falls (Air Terjun Kali). Really nice waterfall and interesting walking through the jungle to get there along the concrete steps.
Don’t follow google maps - drive your scooter to Kali Village (to the north) and the entrance to the walk is from the top of a path there (you can just ask one of the locals where to go, we gave 20,000 Rp for parking to a local). As others have said, the concrete steps are quite slippery so I would say best for people with good shoes on and good balance.
Would recommend to visit! It took us about 30min on the way down, 20min back up.

The place is located near Kali village, which is 15-20 minutes drive from Tomohon. It is easy to get here using an arranged tour, but I visited it by walking from Highland Resort. It took a little more than an hour to walk there. When you get close, there are some signs pointing to the right direction, but they are kinda difficult to see and I had to ask help from locals.
From the village you have to walk few hundred meters. The path is made of stone blocks and was quite easy to walk. Just be careful because the stones can be slippery. There are some quite steep parts but I had no problem going there.
When you finally get there the view is unbelieveable! It really is like a scene from Jurassic Park, just missing the dinosaurs. Well, there are plenty of skinks chilling on the stones. Close enough!
The jungle surrounds you and if the sun is shining, you can see the sunrays in the mist raising from the waterfall. There is a beautiful little bridge which is filled with moss. It is very difficult to describe the view, you have to see it yourself. You can get very close of the waterfall but prepare to get wet!
There isn't anything else to see or do, but for me just the view was good reason to do the one hour walk and get lost few times. Recommended!

We walked from Highland resort - a pleasant, medium difficulty walk. Just around the corner from the point where the trail from the main road to the waterfall starts, there is a kiosk where we got some pisang goreng. The trail to the waterfall is slippery in moist conditions so be careful. The plastic mentioned by others was mostly removed when we walked there. The waterfall is worth the sweat. Pro tip: you can find some nutmegs on the ground at the beginning of the trail.

Kali waterfall could become a tourist destination of choice if visiting the land of Toar Lumimuut. This waterfall is located in the forest, with an atmosphere of quiet and so beautiful. The water fall is divided into two, sizes small and large. Splashes of water can make a visitor soaking wet. In addition to the two parts of the falling water that comes from the mountains of Kinilow, which became the other appeal is the bridge was built. This bridge connects the two sides of the split by the waterfall basin.

We walked here from our resort. So a lot of up and down. 10kms total. Next time I suggest driving to the village of Kali and walking from there. It was an unkept path down but not too hard. The actual falls are beautiful. Definitely worth a look

Before you go, ask for proper directions! We asked for directions and it seemed super easy, but it wasn't... your walk starts on a nice road, after some time the road turns into a sandy, gravel road. You have to continue on this road.
If you ask for directions, people will tell you, you have to keep walking until you see the village. It takes a long time before you get to the village. We thought we were lost, but we weren't. If you follow the road, you will get there. When you get to the village, go to the left (right away), than go to the right, and again to the left. Ask the villagers, they are very friendly.
People will tell you it is about a 2 hour walk. It really is. We thought we were walking pretty fast and thought we could get there sooner, but we didn't. The walk is pretty intens. Bring enough water with you. The last part of the walk is slippery.
The waterfall is beautiful! Someone wrote on tripadvisor that it's like your in Jurassic Park, i totally agree.

If I compare some other waterfall-trips, this is average. We joined this trip with way to Tangkoko Reservation, so it was fine break, but dont expect high level experience.

Walked about 1/2 way there from Highland Resort- was dissuaded because it had poured recently and it was muddy so they advised us against going. It *was* muddy (and would not want to have been caught in the rain) but a nice path, moderately strenuous. Lots of gorgeous butterflies along the way. Wished I had made it there, especially after seeing the other review!
