Well kept area, busy shopping complex, parking of vehicle is an issue. For shopping of local ethnic items it is good. Also, for famous milk-cake (sweets) from many shops , however Baba shop is best- I suppose.
This Victorian Cloak tower witness the history of town for 2 centuries. it is the heart of Alwar. Its main market lot of sweet shops specially milk cake ( kalakand ) shop around. flip side is poor maintenance and lack of cleanliness around
It is a terrible place for a tourist. This is the starting point for the Kalakand market. Forget about visiting this place as the place is extremely dirty and filthy. There is no place even to take a nice picture even. Avoid at any cost.
