A huge area and beautiful architecture. Situated in the city. Not much rush. Good place for historical photography.

We enjoyed this view into the history of The royal family. Definitely recommend a guide to make the most of it.

City Palace is the heart of Alwar city. It now houses the Distt. courts of Alwar and other Govt. offices. It is having a Museum on the top floor with a great collection of historical swords and guns. On the back side there is a pond called Sagar and a very beautiful monument called Moosi rani ki chhatri. It is... More

The word palace brings to mind a monument of regal splendor, but sadly, this place has been allowed to run down. It must have been a beautiful palace once - the structure at least is grand. However, decades of neglect have left their mark and the place is run down, and no one seems to be caring for the place.... More

Nothing good in the city palace. Only a small museum on the top floor. Avoid this place if possible.

City palace houses the court of Alwar. You can see many offices of government inside. The location is quite awkward and the lawyers desks outside seems to feel that you are entering some court. Not that much worthy to visit. On top floor is the museum. Not much of an attraction.

A place you can avoid if you have any other options, there is nothing as such that you can enjoy, there is one small pond named as Sagar, and one Chatri named as Moosi Maharani Chatri, You can click a lot of pictures there, Its a photogenic place.
