Stopped in Sami for lunch during a tour of the island, whilst on our way to Antisamos Beach. Small seaside town/port. Stunning views.

Main port of the eastern side of Kefalonia, and the jumping off point for shipping to Piraeus / Athens. Welcoming small town with wide beachfront areas that served as a substitute for Argostoli in the film "Captain Corelli's Mandolin" with much of the explosive action...More

A small port town with some nice shops and lots of sea front restaurants to choose from. Less atmosphere than Fiscardo but also more space and fewer crowds. Ideal for lunch after visiting Melissani & Drogarati Caves. Worth a visit.

We drove here from Agia Efimina - across the bay. Great for a stroll around, drinks and people watchin. It also has one of the larger supermarkets if you want more of a selection

Beutiful little place to just sit and enjoy the view of the sea and the boats docked there.A fair number of cafe's to have a drink or a quick lunch while you just absorb the beauty around you.

There are a couple of ferries that goes to the nearby town, can't remember the name of the town, just across the bay. You can see the town from Kefalonia Island. it runs quiet frequent. and very reliable.
