Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

After seeing the best of the best of colombian colonial towns and villages, Pasto isnt really a place you have to see as well.

Lots of examples of beautiful churches and historic buildings many of which have been very well maintained. All easily accessible and within walking distance of each other.

This is a nice area of the city with lots of churches, old houses, as well as newer malls, and the Plaza Mejor. Interesting shops and restaurants are plentiful here.

The classic, colonial architecture is a sight to behold. There are lots of friendly Cafés and Heladerías lining the square. The people are friendly, and it's very pretty. Worth visiting while in the area, it is also worth noting that there is not a ton to do, really just strolling around and eating.

Cool place to walk through narrow alleys full of the famous affordable clothes deals throughout Pasto.

We enjoyed walking around Centro, including a delicious snack break at Caffeto. There are some nice cathedrals, and historic buildings with interesting architecture in the downtown area. We especially enjoyed seeing the people outside the government buildings typing up needed forms for people on manual typewriters, a unique scene from the past in this age of computers.

Pasto isn't worth a trip on its own. The centro historiconis functional; there's a supermarket, mercado, places to have a menu del dia and lots of banks round Plaza de Nariño. I visited for afternoon to run some errands. There's not much for tourists to do.
