Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Vejer seems to have it all. Stunning white buildings, soaring views of the sea and Africa, small twisting streets, Arab arches and more than this great restaurants. In the summer it get way crowded but in Spring it has green vistas, quiet streets and is achingly cool. Its worth the visit but plan it carefully to avoid the crowds and enjoy the stunning architecture.....

The Arco de La Villa is the town arch, and it's a nice arch in the town. If you are walking around the town, Cherry Wonderdog suggests that you walk through the arch.

You can easily spend the better part of a day wandering the little streets of Vejer. The arch is just one of the many interesting little architectural landmarks in the area. There are all sorts of neat little art/handicraft galleries tucked away that will probably be open if you're not there during siesta or on a weekend. There are all sorts of neat and interesting photo opportunities to be had, no matter which alley you decide to walk down.

We went to vejer for a specific restaurant but fell in love with the town. It's white walls are Beautifull and from almost every corner there is a Beautifull view or an Old building. The hike we took was short but was very nice because there are also lots of Nice little shops and bars! Must See in andalucia!

Yep it’s an arch. You walk through it. Free both in and out. No big deal. Pretty old and pretty cool. Worth a couple pictures

This village and the whole area do deserve to have a good look. It has some deep history in the area, white houses in the surrounding and of course, the castle.
The architecture is interesting as well.

The Arco is not the most important experience, but the old historical center of Vejer is worth f visiting. It is always nice to see some historical facts described near the entrance like this.
