It wasn't easy to get here, especially because I am a beginner hiker. It took 5-6 hours for me to get to the village from Wae Rebo gate. Such an incredible experience to be welcomed by the village in such warmth. The houses were incredible and the view of course!

You have to put this village on the top of your list if you want to visit Flores. You will feel great experience by the time you reach this place. It's not easy to get here. There's only 3 ways to get Denge (last village before go to Waerebo). Rent a car, motorcyle or public transportation. It took 2-3 hours... More

To reach Wae Rebo, you need driving around 7 hours from Labuan Bajo to nearest village Dengue. From the village you need to climb for another 9km. But your effort will be paid up when you reached there.

I found Irwan while doing my research on Warebo on Tripadvisor and wrote to him to arrange for the 3 days 2 nights trip to Warebo as there were some great reviews from other travellers who engaged him for some previous trips. His rates were much more reasonable than those travel agencies that I've contacted. Irwan turned out to be... More
