Wow! This was an unexpected gem! Generally, air museums next to small airfields don't have much, usually just an outside display of an aircraft but this one has plenty inside! Compromising mostly of Jets from the Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm. The most unique thing...More

Look up the route first as it's a little difficult to find, but well worth the journey through pleasant countryside and alongside a nice beach. Arriving it was obvious the airport is quite active, with single and twin-prop planes, and pleasure rides - the runway...More

Even though I work at the airport, I have to say this is a great gem. Today was the 10” baton relay . Handed over to mountain rescue. The sun was shining and everyone had a smile Well done all.

This museum is full of history. I enjoyed being able to sit in several of the cockpits and seeing machinery and various stretchers and vehicles on display. The models were lovely to look at and I found it neat to see the uniforms and how...More

Really enjoyed a family visit with very friendly arrival. Lots to see and hands on exhibits for young and old. Wide variety of things in a hanger which covered many aspects of aviation. Across the car park you will find a cafe and welsh air...More

First visited here about 5 years and enjoyed it immensely, there were some original and interesting exhibits especially the section on air crashes in North Wales. Come 2018, I'm staying in the area so decide I'd go back thinking they'd probably changed or updated the...More

We visited on a wet Sunday, so were pleased to take cover. Although small, the museum has a lot of planes and exhibits packed in so plenty to occupy plane fans for an hour or two. You can also watch the microlights flying whilst having...More

This is not really a place I'd chose to visit but my partner loved it, it was very informative. One of the best bits was being able to get into quite a few aircraft. My partner thought it was great for the amount of things...More

Spend a couple hours here and you won't be disappointed (especially on a wet day when looking for something to do). Every local air museum has unique displays and relics and this place is no different. Kids will love climbing into the cockpits ( to...More
