Modest by some measures as the cathedral of a smaller provincial city but filled with grogeous stained glass and carved wooden reliefs. The side entrance is decorated very, very elaborately with flowers for the Fiesta de las frutas y flores during Semana Santa.

this is the new catedral builded after the 1949 earthquake that devastates the city, so dont expect to see a big and old catedral, this one has its personality but nothing so special

Great place to visit. Recommend guided tour. Take about 2 hour. Old artifacts. No lines. Souvenir available . Had attractions nearby.
