Beautiful valley with spectacular sceneries, the landscape is breathtaking, the colours of the mountains are incredible. We walked among the lava field, to end our day trip in the thermal water Great family adventure!

After difficult and 4x4-only road, this hidden gem won't let anyone sitting in the car. Trek itself is kind of difficult, but what you see even without Sun shining won't get out of your head. No wonder this place is also called "rainbow hills". Colors...More

Laugavegur is definitely the MOST beautiful trekking trail I have ever been to. It is more beautiful than Inca trail and much easier to hike too. Within the 4-day-3-night journey, we hiked from Landmannalaugar to Þórsmörk while staying in huts at Hrafntinnusker, Hvanngil and Emstrur....More

Hiked the Laugavegur with my girlfriend over four days. We stayed in huts, which were cosy and well-organised but busy. You can also camp but be warned the weather can be pretty mad at times and you won't be allowed to use the hut facilities...More

We hiked Laugevegur from Landmannalaugar to Thórsmörk, on a guided trek run by the Islandic Mountain Guides, and we had the time of our lives! The scenery was just amazing, varying from the colorful volcanic rocks at Landmannalaugar, to lush valleys, green mossy mountains, glaciers,...More

We joined the trek organised by Adventure Artics, and enjoyed it from the pick up point in Ryekjavik to its drop off 4 days later. It was a guided hut to hut trek, and although we experienced all the 4 weathers of the year, the...More

Due to some online reviews, I had thought that campers (at $20/pp!) would be able to hang out in the hut, dry off, and maybe use the kitchen. Not so in these super-busy tourist times (early July). You get to use the toilet, the tap...More
