Go see the flamingos - it's completely worth it. There are several places around the lakes that the flamingos and other birds frequent. Where they are changes according to the weather. The locals always know where they are at any given time so ask and...More

In spite of the lack of infrastructure this hidden place deserves a visit just to watch the flamingos very close in their natural environment.

We went for the day and everyone was so friendly. The boat ride was great and we saw a lot of flamingos when we got there. Lunch on the beach at the end was very relaxing and delicious as well!

Beautiful and wild. Nice two-hour sailboat ride. Bring sunblock. Plenty of a variety of birds. You can get pretty close to the flamingos.

We visited the sanctuary which has some very run down huts and houses, but we walked over to the boat area and the boatman took us across a shallow lake to see a huge number of flamingos. It was a fun 2.5 hours!
