Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We came here as a snorkelling website recommended it. It felt very safe to swim and snorkel. We saw fish but we didn’t see any octopus! The Ayer seemed warmer than other beaches we’ve been to. Beach was shale/pebble. The sun beds were 10euro for 2 beds & a parasol. There’s a tiny shop with basic beach stuff, and 2 cafes. We ate at the one closest to the beach and the staff were lovely and the food fresh and tasty! Had a massage from a man from Taiwan, and again would recommend that too!!!

I have been to this restaurant many times and it never fails to impress. the staff are warm and friendly, the food is just amazing - great for vegans too - their fried courgettes and aubergine dip are to die for. My mouth is watering just thinking about the food there. Book if you want a table right by the sea, but all the tables are great. the local cats mingle round the tables and will take bits from you (if the staff aren't looking) and it's just a beautiful place.

Clear, nice colors but pebbly, I recommend sea shoes.. It gets deep quickly. Cool waters..the set €10, for coffee you go to a tavern by yourself. The route within the framework of the bad network of the island.. you have to go early as in all the beaches..

So peaceful and jaw dropping beautiful.
Fantastic snorkelling near edge and both sides of bay.left hand side has swim through gaps in rock.couple of small beaches to swim to on side to have to yourself.park free car park right behind you.some shops and bars restaurants.
Water is so clear and marine life is abundant.
Just go that is all.😀

If you chose NE Corfu because of its tranquility, beautiful clear ocean, ability to moor up to a pontoon outside a small taverna and eat fresh fish without a single tattoo or Union jack boxer short in sight... Then you'll be in heaven.
This is what NE Corfu is about. Pebble beach (buy neoprene/wetsuit shoes available at the local beach shop), relaxed atmosphere.
Arrive by car (parking is tricky the later you arrive, but you can park at the very far end of the beach)
Best to arrive by your own hire boat. You can get them from San Stefano village round the corner. Gianni boats are cheap, you get what you pay for. He will be about 80 euro + fuel
Expect to pay 100+ euro for a day's rental from one of the other boat places + fuel.
The food at Kerasia Taverna is excellent, classic Greek faire. The fresh fish is great.
As with all of this area, its expensive. But then you didn't choose NE Corfu for a budget break I presume! With the Roth child estate behind you, the world's finest super yatchs moored in front of you and sprawling, semi-hidden villas surrounding you, its where your unfeasibly attractive, sickeningly successful best friend told you to go!
This place is old money. Old Corfu. And you're paying for it.. But try to let that go and soak up the experience.

Firstly you won't find so much as a grain of sand at Kerasia but don't despair this is a truly stunning stretch of white pebble beach typical of the north east of the island. Nearby Kalami might have the kudos of Durrell connections and Agni may be the new place for those 'in the know' to frequent but they do not hold a candle to Kerasia. (Incidentally Kerasia is Greek for cherries)
The beach is only accessible by road via Agios Stefanos which is about a kilometre and a half away, although there is coastal path from Kalami to the bay enabling it to reached on foot after a walk of around half an hour. The beach is at the bottom of a steep hill which wouldn't necessarily be an issue going down but might make it difficult for the very young or anyone with mobility problems to negotiate on foot on the way back up. To put this into context: I saw a man on a mountain bike tackle the incline having to zig-zag back and forth to get up the incline.
As others have pointed out sunbeds and umbrellas are available for hire for 8 Euros a day but are pretty much all gone before lunchtime in high season. The beach itself is very clean with beautiful clear water which may shelve a little too steeply for some, but that didn't put us off playing volleyball or bat and ball in the sea.
There are big boats moored offshore in the bay and hire boats tied up at the jetty next to Kerasia Taverna through the day. The taverna is next to a snack bar which offers an alternative to more traditional Greek fare. Both are busy and well frequented particularly at lunchtime. We only went to taverna and found that it was wise to reserve table in advance.
I hope my lame attempts at photography do Kerasia justice. The contrast of the green hills covered in olives and cypress trees with the blue of the water and the almost blindingly white pebbles make this a magical place to spend a day, or six!

Well that's am going to say this is the worst place I've ever been, just to preserve the peace and quiet. Because it's delightful. We have been to Corfu a lot and this place is a new discovery and amazed we've not discovered it before. The people beach is quiet, there are lots of shady sun beds. The water is clear and crisp and I didn't see any plastic pollution. There are loads of places to eat.
A great discovery set to become a firm favourite.

Such a gorgeous clear beach, with all the basic facilities you need. 2 really good restaurants and shops where you can buy anything you need. The beach of pebbly, with lots of beds and parasols for hire. Reasonably priced too - just buy from the guy near the car park. There is plenty of parking, but get there early on a weekend! They also have a couple of pedalos, which our teenagers loved.

Situated at the end of the coastal road out of Agios Stefanos in the north east of corfu is the peaceful pebbly beach of Kerasia. There are a few sunbeds for hire but most people bring their own brolly and beach towel. Parking space is limited, so best avoid the weekends when the locals tend to visit. The water is crystal clear and perfect for swimming. There is an excellent taverna at one end of the beach, perfect for lunch.

A stunning little beach a short walk from our hill top villa.
It's a Pebble beach - extremely clean - and the sea is clear!
Beach bar and restaurant plus a shop on the beach to grab any inflatables, snorkels, towels etc if needed!

Hi! We came here for our honeymoon in August 2014 and absolutely loved it but were also bitten almost to death by mosquitoes.I had 10 bites in the first half an hour in our villa! We'd love to go back but now have a toddler in tow. Is this a bad idea? Considering June but don't know if the mosquitoes will be too much with a little one...

Limited space is available near the tavernas. It is really limited compared to some of the other beaches
