It was to cool to really enjoy the water but this time of the year the scenery was beautiful. No crowds, so we were able to walk or drive without anybody bothering us. The water looked great and we loved to look at the boats. Spent several hours walking and enjoying the sites.

A great harbour that is close to restaurants, shops, laundromat and hiking trails. Many great restaurants to chose from, all within walking distance.

We visited in October 2016 as well. I vacationed here several years ago possibly 2008. The weather, friendly people, and air were all terrific. We also enjoyed walking past the homes on the water.

Cycled to Thornbury from Collingwood and ended up at the Harbour. Busy little spot with lots of boats and places to fish. People seemed to like the little river for fishing. There are restaurants close by for food and a beer on the patio. There is also a place called Pom Pom which serves yummy ice cream treats and milk... More

We love driving down to the Thornbury Harbour, whenever we visit Collingwood. It's worth the drive to see the beautiful scenery. There's a little park that you can bring a picnic lunch or just sit and watch the water hit the rocks. Very relaxing and therapeutic! There's is also a small beach, or if you're an excellent swimmer, you can... More

Very nice place to take a stroll by the water. Enjoyed looking at the boats and walking along the creek/river.

This is a nice harbour to visit if your into boating, see the boats, or a stop at their washrooms that were decent and clean, have a picnic, or sue a boat launch. Very good looking launch. The whole place seemed classy somehow. I would say it would be a good stop over place if your on the water with... More

Enjoy a swim from the pebble beach or jump from the pier if you dare! We always enjoy watching the boats sail in and out of the harbor

We were biking in the area recently. The bridge to the harbour from the Georgian Trail was closed. Too bad as it's a nice way to access the harbour

This is a great area for a leisurely walk following dinner or on a sunny, quiet afternoon. The marina is always abyssal with boats coming and going. The beach on the western end of the harbour is a good place to relax or take dip in the water. The adjacent playground is an enjoyable stop for the children.
