This museum is small but well worth an hour visit. We learned so much about the maritime history of this area. Get a token to see the engine from the barge work, climb on a real oyster boat, watch a video on the historic lighthouse...More

Nice little local museum. Full of bits and pieces and interesting stories. The information about the pardoned soldier is particularly moving.

Very nice staff, helpful and knowledgeable. Cheap at 3dollars entry. A bit chaotic and dated. Interesting but due to lack of visual structure it is hard to see forest for the trees

Really enjoyed the exhibits. From the full size oyster boat in the yard to the old steam engine in the building that runs after a fashion to illustrate the steam drive concept. Lots of other exhibits.
