We drive up to the hill in a rainy day. However, it 360 view is still amazing. Would recommend if you have spare time I bluff.

Super walk and great view. Well worth it and there is a WW11 gun battery too although a bit delapidated - be worth preserving as more of an attraction.

A steep drive to the car park and then a walk up a unique spiral pathway leads to one of the best views in New Zealand! The weather was dry and a little hazy but I was able to see to Stewart Island. Great interpretive signs on the walk to the lookout. For the more serious walker there are longer... More

The local historical society has done a wonderful job with interpretation of the Bluff environment and surrounds. The Maori story is well preserved. Although overcast the views were still amazing

Plenty of free parking up top. Best seen on a sunny day, the views are amazing. But if you arrive on a cloudy rainy day all is not lost. There is a few walking tracks you can do, including a 2km track down to Sterling Point (where the famous signpost is). If you are into New Zealands endemic birds then... More

We were up the hill in mid morning and it was a bit hazy. We still had a great view and it was well worth the trip up. Lots of great photos. There are a few trails to walk as well

We could easily drive to the top of the hill. We had an amazing 360 degree view. The weather was clear so we could see the Stewart Island, Dog island........

There are three great spots to visit in Bluff: the Waipapa lighthouse viewing area at the end of Marine Parade/Ward Parade; the trails and vistas of the Bluff Scenic Reserve Park; and Bluff Hill, accessible from Gunpit Road. All are easy to get to and provide a nice place for seascape vistas.

Lovely setting, with a spiral walkway to the top, also with placards with interestiing information on them. Once at the top, spectacular views.
