Small quick stop on your way to see Normandy American Cemetery and Overload museum. We visited during the #dday73 festival and stopped in this great little museum. The owner had given part of this space as a staging area for those taking part in the...More

An important and wonderful Museum. A must stop for everyone who is interested in D-Day. Do not skip his one. Aside of the unique collection, Pierre Louis, the owner and manager of the museum is a fountain of knowledge (aside of the fact that he...More

A small collection with little narrative, felt a bit robbed for €5, when I have seen a lot better for less (or free). Wouldn't go again, but can say I went.

A wonderful museum. Most impressive is the detailed knowledge of the owner. Meeting, and speaking with him was one of the highlights of my trip to Normandy!

The BRO's accomplishments seem to have been overshadowed through the years by the accomplishments of the 29th, 82nd and 101st. The 1st Infantry not only stormed the beaches of Omaha, they did the same in North Africa and Italy. Pierre, the owner of the museum,...More

The owner started collecting D-Day artifacts when he was eight years old and has thirty years worth of carefully researched and documented uniforms, utensils, weapons, and supplies. Descriptions and signage in English and French. Tiny gift shop contains good selection of maps and books.
