Very easy for children to walk. Mostly shaded. Very up close and personal with the animals!! Many different species of animals. Doesn't take too long to see everything.

They are always expanding to make this a better place for the animals to live. Large staff and the animals look and seem happy. A must go to

Went with my husband and 2 children (7 an 4). Perfect size for a quick trip to the zoo. Staff were knowledgeable and answered all of my kids' incessant questions.

The zoo is open to guests seasonally. It would not typically be open during March.
