Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Loved it here! Climbed up on the chair and the rocking horse! Had the best time! Will definitely recommend to everyone I know!

I was a nice stop on our way to elsewhere. As a couple we had fun reminiscing over all of the wonderful wooden toy’s being made, bought Lollies to eat in the car and climbed the rocking horse. The climb was easy and fun. Children would need as signage suggested supervision.
If you had children there was an area with animals to go and pat.
Great hour stop.

This popular attraction had next to no parking left, but after a couple of circles, managed to get out and appreciate this huge climbable horse

A great SA attraction that is slowly being ruined.
5 kangaroos, some peacocks and a few ducks, goats and sheep... Not much of a petting zoo.
A few Corella and Cockatoos that talk, but don't let your finger get near them.
$8.50 for a coffee is daylight robbery no matter where you are. And it wasn't that good.
Toilets stank... Worse than a Long Drop in the middle of summer. Clearly haven't been cleaned well or often.

It certainly is big! Not particularly pretty, but deserves its title. We didn't try to climb to the top, so just admired from the ground. We had a look through the toy shop and while we could admire the toys made on site, it was disappointing to see how expensive they were and that a very high percentage of everything else sold in the shop was made in China.

Petting zoo, toy workshop, cafe, rocking horse. Plenty for the whole family to enjoy. Lollies, souvenirs, wooden toys all of great quality.

My daughter thoroughly enjoyed their climb to the top of the giant rocking horse. They got a great view from the top then we explored the toy store filled with hundreds of wooden delights 😁👍🏼

We stopped at the Giant Rocking Horse for a late breakfast while we were on a day trip up to Tanunda. The staff were very friendly and our breakfast was nice and filling - great coffee as well.
We then went to the Toy Shop which brought back so many memories of when life was so much simpler. Most of the toys are wood and are made on site - we were able to observe the workman using a lathe to make toys through the viewing window.
There is also a "petting/feeding" animal enclosure that would probably interest a family group, but we had a busy schedule, so didn't venture in.

Great place for the kids as you get up close to the animals who are very happy to stand there and get fed.
