We visited Carantec town and ended up on the beach when the sun came out. Very clean and peaceful. Kids loved playing on the sand and in the water.

Beautiful walks along the coast to all the beaches on the peninsula. The free shuttle bus can also be used to get to any area.

This is a beach with a car park and several restaurants. But beware, it is very windy and the water is cold.

Lovely beach for kids, not too busy when we were there midday till about 4. Got busier later. Lots of rock pools. And safe sea to splash around in.
