The fort is very impressive, on the end of Birth. Good selection of historical information and a viewing platform with fantastic views back to Valetta.

On the one hand all the Forts are the same, however, they are not, yes they have history with tales of battles won and lost, massive walls and great views. What made Fort St Angelo stand out was the people who run the Fort. We...More

This one has been well looked after, a very interesting visit, and the views are just spectacular. Situated on the Birgu waterfront, which is a great place in itself for cafes, strolling, and views of the harbour.

A lovely ferry ride of barely 7 minutes takes you from Valetta to Birgu. A lovely stroll along the waterfront past an array of ridiculously expensive and massive yachts takes you to the Fort. We we lucky as we were only charged 2 Euro each...More

Provides lovely views but nothing really unique that you couldn’t get from outside the fort for free. The exhibits are ok and the general wandering around interesting but don’t think it warrants the price tag. Would have been happier if sub-5 Be warned that also...More

A special room within the Fort is dedicated to the oubliette history, including video views of the underground cell, which for conservation purposes is not accessible to visitors per se.
