Worth a look if you're passing. It's been renovated by the owner to be typical of its time (the oldest building here possibly) and he's currently renovating the next door building too, to increase its appeal. Considering it's free, it'd be daft to miss it...More

We were very lucky meeting the man who works on the house. Since years he restores this old building, hoping he manages to make it so nice as it was before. The window looking to the street is amazing - such a norman style window...More

While wandering the streets of Birgu, we happened upon Norman house. It's beautifully restored with spiral staircases, free to get into and gives an insight into the building in this lovely area. What a pleasant way to spend a few minutes while in stunning Birgu!

It wasn't in the guidebook. We just noticed it as we were walking by. It's worth a stop if you're in the area. A very old house, maintained by the local council. Not much in the displays, but very atmospheric.

A beautifully restored Norman House. Tucked away in a quiet backwater, off the main Square in the suburb of Birgu, Valleta. Unfortunately, it was closed. However, as we visit Malta every year, we'll be back in 2017!!!
