This temple is very nice with fabulous views - we climbed from the carpark on Namhae-daero, just north of Sangju-myeon. The round trip walk took about 3 hours but was worth it - very steep in some sections.

It is quite hard to reach the top of Boriam temple with hard hiking but eventually it was worth it. I went with few friends ad it was good and it was not so crowded.

Just a Buddhist temple in the middle of rural South Korea, near Namhae. Not much to see but a nice long hike if your up for the exercise and fresh air.

Spectacular views. Even after parking its just short of a 1km uphill (moderate) walk to the temple so wear comfortable shoes. It's well worth the visit with great photo ops. Go back down the mountain at the end of the day for some great sushi.

I recomend to go there early. If you want to bring your car to the ticket office. otherwisw you have to wait a lot or it's better to take mini bus. the view of the temple is fantastic and make me feel relax.

Definitely a visit not for the unhealthy as the walk up from the car park is strenuous, but the views from the top when you get there take away what little breath you might have left! A wait of nearly 45 minutes to be allowed...More

This is a temple at the top of Mount Keum looking down the beautiful southern seascape, which is designated as a national marine park. There are shuttle buses taking you almost to the entrance of the temple.
