The scenery is very unusual. Like being on the moon.

Late afternoon heading to Ormara beach you can get great shots of the colorful Bedford trucks slowly making their way up and down the winding road. They are usually very overloaded and accidents are common so be very careful driving near them.

For security reasons, foreigners need a NOC (No Objection Certificate) to travel to Balochistan.

Starting at 3.5 to 4 hours from Karachi is the most fascinating landscape of Hingol National Park. Starting from Hingol River, the mountains are steep and rocky but just in few kms after Kund Malir, the landscapes suddenly changes to weird mud features that, over the millennia, have been carved by water into strange shapes resembling different animals and even a lady called "Princess of Hope". Hingol National Park is also a sanctuary for Sind Ibex and Blandford Urial. The Coastal Highway snakes through the national park majestically, revealing fascinating landscapes on both sides. You can find few shops in Kund Malir area and at another spot. Better to carry your own water and snacks. The is very well protected by security forces.

Me and my group of friends drove to Hingol National Park which is around 270 Kms from Karachi and it took 4 hours to reach there through Hub Gateway and N10 Makran Coastal Highway Balochistan.

We visited three Spots there which were Nani Mandir, Kund Malir Beach and Princess of Hope altogether.

Nani Mandir is national park for mountains and flowing sea water. Famous for its Sandy Mountains which change shapes after every rain. Good for Trail Biking, Mountain Biking, Hiking Trails and ATVs. Famous for Eye Opening Mountains. If you have SUV then best to go on it. No proper roads inside the hingol park due to mountains.

Kund Malir Beach is 10 minutes drive from Nani Mandir on N10 Highway. Kund Malir Beach was a mesmerizing thing in my life. We didnt expect that we have a so clean and blue reef sea water beach controlled and managed by Pakistan Navy. One of the best spots of Balochistan.

Princess of Hope is 15 minutes ahead from Kund Malir Beach on main N10 Highway. Princess of Hope is just a historic lady made of mountains. Angelina Joile named this place princess of hope.

Good Things:
* You would never see such a beach in Pakistan
* Mesmerizing to see that national park with family.
* Secured Area in Day Light
* Go with Family
* Kund Malir Beach have small huts and cabanas and rest rooms to refresh your self and one good Pathan restaurant which would help you in any way. either you want fresh food, tea, drinks, drinking water or you want your stuff to be made etc. they will help you alot.

Bad Things:
* On N10 from Hub Chowangi to Hingol Park there is no Mechanics, Tuck shops, Coffee Shops, Hotels, Restaurants, Tyre Shops and PETROL stations. So you have to fill your trunk with all the spare parts and stuff.
* No Phone Signals there in that area. If any mishap happened then it will be your bad bad day.
* Go Early, Come Early as after sunset it would become your nightmare as there is no street lights and help if anything happened.

This National Park is amazing.

Full of wildlife and nature close to sea.
One must visit this beautiful place.

This place is around 247km from Karachi City Center
and it takes around 4 hours to travel by road
depending on traffic condition at exit from Karachi
and at Hub city area on way through Makran Coastal Highway.

There are at least +30 species of mammals, +50 species of amphibians and reptiles and +100 species of birds in this park. It is an open park, covers an area of 1,650 square kilometers and is the largest National park in Pakistan.

I have personally seen a group of 5 dear, an Ibex (Sindh Ibex) from distance, desert monitor, and a marsh crocodile during my trip.

Although you need to spend many days to explore the wild life of this area but i suggest and advise a day trip to this place.
I suggest to start at 2am from Karachi and reach at the entrance of Hingol National Park by 6am around sunrise.
spend the day in Hingol National Park and surrounding areas and return back around 4/5pm to reach Karachi by 8/9pm.

Surrounding attractions include:
.1. Hingol River, inside Hingol national park
.2. Hindu Mandir inside Hingol National park
.3. Wild Life activity inside Hingol National park
.4. Natural Rock Formations - Incredible view every where in and around the park.
.5. Natural Sphinx 'Princes of Hope' and more around 20 km after Hingol National park
.6. Mud Volcanos - 35 km before Hingol National Park
.7. Kund Malir Beach, just near the entrance of Hingol National Park on main road.

If you like long drives and beaching around lovely mountains, then this is the place. Kund malir beach and hingol national park are adjacent to each other. Both are popular tourist spots. From Karachi it's almost 4-5 hours drive. Law and order situation is pretty satisfied.

We a group of friends packed in 2 cars, left Karachi late in the evening towards Hingol National Park, one of the largest national park of Pakistan with a spread of about 1,650 sq km² along Makran Coast Highway which has one of the most scenic drive.

We reached the Mud Volcanoes late night. Mud Volcanoes are named as Chandragup1, Chandragup2 & Chandragup3. Chandragup1 is a 300-foot-high and is fun to climb. It is a sacred annual pilgrimage site for Hindus. We camped the night out at base of volcanoes under full moon. One has to be all geared up for camping as there are no shops or any facilities around.

After having breakfast at tea shop at Agor, we were off to Kund Malir Beach and Golden beach which are known for dolphins & clear blue water. Next we drove on to Buzzi pass with Mud Mountains looking like Mars on earth. Coming back from Buzzi pass there is Princess of Hope, a natural rock formation manifesting a princess looking beyond horizons standing high in mountains.

Next stop on way back was Hingol National Park which is habitat to animals including Ibexes, Urials, Chinkara, migratory & resident birds. Hinglaj Mata/Nani Mandir is a Hindu temple in middle of Hingol National Park located in a mountain cave. Here we saw Ibex munching on leaves.

Best time of to travel is from November to March. If one doesn’t want to camp then they can start journey at night & reach there early morning to witness sunrise at Buzzi pass. The sunset at Hingol river bridge is very scenic.

About 4 hours by road from the city of Karachi on the Makran Coastal Highway, this gem of a location is a stark reminder that Pakistan is a beautiful country.

We took a car ride to Gawadar from Karachi instead of air. It was probably the best decision. The entire journey will forever remain one of my fondest memory. The highlight of this journey was Hingol National Park. Wow. The mountains the territory undisturbed by humans. The beauty of these mountains. The princess of hope. For anyone travelling to Gawadar please for once go by road. You will never use aircraft.

Hingol national park is a magical wonderful place that more people should be aware of.

It has been my dream to visit Hingol National Park since I saw photos of it at Freya Hall 2 years ago. I have spent the last two years planning the visit and was really amazing.

I traveled out with a driver, 1 Male cousin, my mother and aunty. We found there were plenty of small rest stops at about 10 mile intervals, and we saw a lot of other family. I will say all the people now visiting have shown the rugged, wild beauty of Hingol Park with a great deal of disrespect in all the rubbish you see littering the main attractions.

I found the beauty of the landscape, inspiring, haunting and utterly delightful.
