Lovely location but the seaweed covered the front of the beach for almost the whole stretch, and out into the sea. We went onto some rocks on the far right hand side to avoid and had a lovely time in the shallow water.

Tried many beaches from Favone down to Rondinari including Palombaggia. Of course they are all good compared to most European beaches as the water is always clear and warm but Pinarellu North side (left of the small port not along the south side by the...More

We stayed at a hotel here - La Pinarellu -and spent a week at the beach. Beautiful sand, plenty of activities - sailing, kayaks, SUPs, waterskiing, powerboat rental, windsurfing etc. Snorkelling is also superb. There are a number of snack bars and a string of...More

We first tried a spot in the South. From the parking at the road it's a few mins walking through the pine forest to the beach. The beach itself was a bit disappointing as the sand was full of dry algae / sea grass as...More

Visited Pinarello early in the morning which made parking easier. We loved this beach. Picturesque, quiet and easy to reach. Lovely place to visit if you’re up in time for sunrise. The children loved snorkeling near the rocks. It’s also a wonderful place for an...More

I have previously said this is a fantastic beach. It still is but now, presumably because last year there was a sea weed problem at the north end it has been shunned. As of today you have a gloriously clean beach, beautiful white sand and...More

Lovely bay. Soft sand. Warm water. Not too busy. Parking free and easy. Good choice of restaurants. Very relaxed.

Bigger beach than Santa Giulia or Palombaggia although it seems less crowded and the water is cristal clear too. 15 minutes drive from Porto-Vecchio to escape the hype from Santa Giulia beach!

This is a really lovely, sandy beach, which stretches for a long way. You can walk in either direction when you feel like taking a stroll or, if you fancy a swim, the water is not too cold. We took a walk and were delighted...More

Beautiful beach with soft sand and clear shallow water. Lovely for toddlers. The north part of the beach is seaweed clear but sadly the south wilder part is terrible. Banks of rotting seaweed the whole stretch. Just use the north part.

There was a seaweed problem on pinarellu beach this year and I was told by locals there was a particular shellfish or mollusc which was causing conservation issues and they couldn’t clear it. There was no regular beach... More
