We took the ferry to Ramea on a cool very foggy day. After hiking one side of the island we stopped in at Eastern Outdoors and had the most wonderful homemade soup. Only disappointment - they were out of fresh lemon pie.

This is the only place to get a meal in Ramea so either bring food with you or plan to select from the limited menu. Most items are fried or things I don't/can't eat so I was not able to order much at all but...More

Visiting Ramea from Burgeo is a must. The boardwalk walk reveals gorgeous scenery, and the lighthouse is terrific. Problems with Ramea include the fact that Eastern Outdoors is the only place to eat, and the menu is the usual fried fish, potatoes etc. I know...More
