Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A stunning waterfall along the Trollstigen mountain road. I recommend a stop here if you can or it is possible to hike here on the old road. Be careful when parking right by the waterfall, there are many cars and many want to stop.

Great waterfall with a somewhat tricky parking. When lots of people want to stop, be aware of parking conditions. Have place? Do stop and enjoy

Brilliant waterfall right by the road
Stigfossen is impressive and very close to the road, so you don't have to leave the car. You just drive by it and have your camera ready for a quick stop/slow down when passing.

The troll road is amazing and you can see 2 waterfalls while traveling it. This is the bigger of the two. There is a good viewing pull off near the bottom and a nice stop at the top with cafe, vendors, and paved viewing platforms. This is well worth a stop but the troll road is not for the faint of heart.

My wife and I recently had the opportunity to view this waterfall and really enjoyed the experience. You can view the falls from a number of different angles and elevations. You can also see them as you wind your way down the road from the observation area. These falls are pretty spectacular and you will be rewarded when you get to see them.

The sight of this grand wonder of nature accompanies you while ascending the Trollstigen (trolls' stairs). Sometimes you can see it from the right, sometimes from the left and sometimes it is straight ahead. You also cross a bridge over the waterfall. At the top there are two small terraces with a wonderful view of the waterfall. We were there in the middle of a heat wave in June, but there was still such a mass of water falling into the valley that it was almost frightening. I wonder what the waterfall looks like in spring when the snow is melting.

Not only is this beautiful from the Trollstigen Road (what a joy that was to drive!) but from the visitors centre at the top of the pass. The centre's architecture is that lovely blend of Scandi chic but sympathetic to the environment at the same time, and the water flowing along before tumbling over the cliff is a sight to definitely see.

Seriously cold but worth suffering near frost bite.

Also views from Scenic railway. Glorious views.
