Pleasant but unremarkable town on route to from Teide. Okay for a lunch or coffe stop but nothing of real interest here.

Vilaflor has a pretty central square and plenty of places to eat and drink with a lovely view down to the sea. Its a good base for some interesting walks nearby, especially to the "lunar" rocks.

There is a new attraction in town - a museum of the life of the locally born saint, Hermano Pedro . If you park in the car park at the top of the town, turn left instead of going to the main square. The museum is in part of the Convent, across the road from the new infants' school.

Our amazing tour guide, Jaime Munoz (Feel Tenerife) took us to this awesome village to eat at El Sombrerito! Don't not miss this special treat!

Stopped during a Tiede - Masca tour. This was a beautiful village and well worth driving through. Quaint and typical of south Tenerife!

Beautiful area of Tenerife, part way up Teide. Ideal area for walking in the national park. Numerous old buildings and churches.
