Must see in Zonguldak
Aug. 2019 • Couples
Gökgöl Mağarası was a real surprise and a hidden gem. Just outside the city center, it is located right next to the highway, yet east to miss. We were pleasantly surprised by the wonderful presentation inside the cave. The path is excellent and the formations are beautifully lit. The river inside the cave adds a special flavor to the experience.

Must see!
Apr. 2019 • Couples
If you're on the way to Zonguldak, then you must and see this cave! Although is right on the main road, you may miss it if you don't have it put on GPS or on a map, as is exactly on a curve. The inside is very nice, with a wooden path going all the way. It is well illuminated and easily accessible for everyone. Inside, there are a variety of structures such as stalactites or stalagmites, as well as an underground river. Just have a look at the pictures!

Amazing! A Must See!
Apr. 2017
When we were visiting Zonguldak our friends organized the tour of Gökgöl Cave and I hadn't checked any info about it. The minute we entered I realized that it is not an ordinary cave! The more you walk the path(about 900 m) the more you admire the beauty and uniqueness of it. They renovated in 2016 and there is still some work going on but it does not affect the visitors. The pathways and lightings are excellent. There is a river inside which makes certain areas damp but still the floor covering is so good that it is not slippery. There are areas that you have to walk with care so that your head does not touch the ceiling and there are some areas you have to lean back to see the ceiling. Worths visiting Zonguldak even only for this cave.

There should be much more comments and travel reviews about this wonder of nature. You will be %100 surely amazed about this tourisctic cave. It was the one the best natural formation i have been to. Fantastic textures and suberp environment will shock you. I have driven extra 200 KM to see this place bout it definetly worth it. Weather was hot like hell outside and when you just enter and take few steps you will feel cold winds blowing on to your face. Please take your coat with you .
stalactites ,stalagmites, rivers and wery well choosen turkish music will guide you on your about 1km long walking path .Enterance fee was around 2,5-3 euros. You can call it free for such a breath taking place. I was really disappointed to see there is no pictures about this place and no comment. It deserves muc much more better fame. It's a pity not to been there before..
