Recommend wellies while walking to this beach in the winter, my shoes were filthy. Lovely view from the top of the hills. Very pebbley beach. Shop there to buy coffee and lollypops. Lovely views.

Get some fish and chips from the town and take them to the beach, find a rock and sit there and enjoy the sea view. Not a beach for miles of walking but you can walk over the cliff for a good view too. Parking is free but limited.

Stopped here on a recent walk along the coastal path. The beach is clean, large and has a lifeguard station, manned during the summer. There is a small cafe serving drinks and food.

Not so much a beach as it is all pebbles and boulders. Lovely walks but beware it can be very dangerous with crumbling cliffs.

Not a beach for a summer day by the sea, but perfect for a few hours on a sunny autumn day. We spent a lovely hour hunting fossils (keep away from the cliff base, there was evidence of a recent rock fall) and found several; no ammonites here, they're mostly bivalve shelled creatures from the Jurassic. My daughter was amazed... More

Visited here with family during half term, free parking facilities, café nearby. We enjoyed the Coastal Walk up amongst the cliffs some fabulous views. Even though it was a wet day to visit the beach we all had a fun day out plus it was a bonus that there were not many people about so more or less had the... More

Visited here with kids and grandkids a few times. Nice and quiet, pebbles and sand. Cafe on beach front is nice to stop at refreshments
