Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fine point for admiring the mountains especially for car drivers who have had to keep a very keen eye (actuallly both) on the road. By the way: the bus service is excellent, cheap, safe and recommended.

Found this place by accident on the way back from a day in the mountains and luckily at sundown too. It's a stunning view and easy to find on the GC-60 (a stunning road that's well worth a drive if you hire a vehicle).
This is a great place for those with mobility issues as there are no steps or any walking as the viewing platform is next to the massive car park.
It's an amazing landscape and well worth a visit, especially at sunset.

All I can say is a big WOOOOOWWWW!!!!!! This is one of the best views of Gran Canarian mountains. We loved it! We will definitely come back. You can see Maspaloms dunes from this point on one side and mountains on the other.

Pick a cloudless day to go. When we went the fog was so thick that we could hardly see our hands in front of our faces (plus a scary drive to get there!)
Needless to say, we saw nothing of the supposedly spectacular scenery.

Monday 24th September we were driving along the exceptionally winding road (GC60) from Fataga to Maspalomas and we saw signs for this Mirador.

We parked up in the small car park, and walked to the viewing point it was absolutely stunning. On one side, in the distance we could see Maspalomas and it's famous Dunas, and jaw dropping scenery on the other. No words in this review can adequately describe the view, it has to be seen to be believed.

From 300 metres up from above sea level this territory becomes part of the World Biosphere Reserve of Gran Canaria declared by UNESCO on 29th June 2005.

Thought Mirador meant a lookout point, checked after our visit and it means, a turret or tower attached to a building and providing an extensive view.

We stopped at this Mirador or viewing point on the way to San Bartolome de Tirajana.
The viewing point has plenty of parking and is well worth a stop. The scenery is absolutely stunning and provides great opportunities for some fantastic photos.

Stunning views. Valley's all round. In the distance the sea and sand dunes of Maspalonas. You can see the valley of 1000 palms. We were there on a day the temperatures reached 47 degree's we fried wow did we fry.

If you can make this a stop on the way to or from your travels its 100% worth stopping and checking out the views. Absolutely stunning, you can see for miles and the creation of the mountains will definitely make your mind wonder.
