This incredible building is the home of the Governor. Part of the building is open to visitors, and they offer free guided tours. The tour lasts about a half hour and is worth the time.

This is the most famous place in São Luis in my opinion. You have to stop here to see the sunset while some artists play beautiful music to enchant the moment.

Short but very interesting tour of the Palacio dos Leoes. The building and furniture is well kept up and there are many antiques from the 18th and 19th centuries. Well worth the visit.
