Bordered by the Aire Valley Railway, The River Aire and the Leeds Liverpool canal, this is a place to take a relaxing stroll at any time of year, enjoying its changing light, natural beauty and endless birdsong. There's a large convenient car park at the entrance (take time to visit Hirst Lock and the Shipley nature reserve close by. All... More

These woods are both beautiful and interesting to walk through, with some interesting history thrown in. Definitely somewhere I'd visit again.

Northcliffe is a lovely place to walk at any time of the year. It offers the woodland walk plus the railway which is very popular with the children as is the playgrounds. Easy to get to and parking is available.

Something for everyone here. Miniature railway, 2 playgrounds, tennis courts, fabulous woodland... You can see so many animals including parakeets and deer, depending on the time of visiting. Excellent for dogs too

Lived near north cliffe for a lot of years. It's is a brilliant green space belonging to the people of Shipley. Good in any season.... Spring and summer picnics, space to run and play. Winter.... A fabulous place for sledging! Autumn walks through the woods.

All the years I've lived in Bradford and have never been to this park. What a lovely surprise. Hidden away from the main road this Park has its own miniature rail way during the summer, a lovely play area, tennis courts and bowling green. A beautiful walk through the woods passing the gentle flowing stream that windes around the high... More

You always meet plenty of people with kids and dogs just strolling through enjoying the lovely surroundings. In the warmer months on a Sunday I always take my grandchildren... More
