Take a walk on the wild side
Jul. 2020
If the weather is good the small harbour is a nice place to walk around. You can obviously also check off your list that you have visited the southernmost place in Swwden.
A few geographical signs and marks, some shops and cafes and you can take a walk to the lighthouse. Speaking of that, the most interesting, and scary, was that it is apparently a place that also snakes like... We wanted to walk down by the waterfront from the harbour to the lighthouse. On that path there is a warning sign, and they even have put upp a fence (to protect the snakes I guess). I am sure the chance of running in to a snake is minimal, but we turned around. There is a walking path by the road, so take that if you dont feel like a walk on the wild side.

A must go to place when in southern Sweden. Take a walk along the shore line, visit the small harbor and grab a bite to eat.

Nice summer day excursion

This is as far south you will be able to travel in Sweden so why not make a visit. They have small but fabulous restaurants, you can also buy a sandwich and sit down by the harbor and enjoy the day. Please note that it can be a bit windy so bring some clothes especially during the Spring and Autumn.

Southernmost point, with tourist shops, cafes and a nice harbour.

This place canbe frantic in the high season (july) with crowds of people and parking difficult, but at quieter times it is nice to walk around. Go east of the main drag (past the kilns) and you come to a couple of nice cafes in big buildings.

Just a bus ride from Trelleborg on the way to Ystad. This is the southernmost point of Sweden. It has a statue that is supposed to be modelled on Uma Thurman's grandmother. The lighthouse is a short walk away. I have seen prettier lighthouses in Maine, but this is nice too, small and cute with a not so challenging climb up!
You can take the bus and go back to Trelleborg or continue to Ystad

Went from the monument to the sign that states you have reached the most southern tip of Sweden. It's a foto-op and a good opportunity to sit down for a coffee.
