We booked a tour and tasting about 30 minutes before we arrived. It is a nice little winery, not too many varieties of wines, just four, but they are all very good. The tasting is nice, included some meat and cheese as well as bread with their olive oil. Our server was very knowledgeable about the wine as well as... More

When we stopped there we couldn't get a tour, but we didn't book in advance. Friendly staff let us taste some wines and oils, with good explanation and some historical background. I'll likely go back for the tour.

Despite an extremely busy weekend at vineyards in the area during Cantina Aperte (Open Wineries Festival), we were warmly greeted and generously offered a glass of every wine they produce. Many wineries charged or only offered their lower caliber wines. When we inquired about the oil the family makes, a huge plate of bread soaked in their wonderful organic oil... More

We stopped in without an appointment on a Sunday and one of the owners gave us a private tour. He showed us the entire winery, and then we got to taste some wines. Among them were wines rated between 92 and 96 by Robert Parker. We liked both the white and the red so much we bought a mixed case... More

If you're wanting to visit a world class Italian wine making family, this is the place. The Sportoletti family is wonderful. Wine and food and just pleasure in this beautiful setting in Umbria. Definitely recommend.

Lovely afternoon tasting some very nice wines. What a way to start a holiday. Had only landed in Perugia a couple of hours before so good wine was just what was needed.

We had a great wine tasting experience here. We had a tour from one of the staff and also met the owner and his family as they were there bottling some of the delicious wines! It's a few km from Spello, so you'll need to drive or get a taxi if you are staying in the town. Definitely worth a... More
