Having called into museum as we were in porthcawl we were surprised how many artifacts there were. The museum doesn't look that big on outside but there is so much to look at inside. A trench inside and the workers were more than happy to take pictures. At only £1 to go in how can you not have a look... More

The museum is small but very informative and interesting. the volunteers are very committed and couldn't do enough for us. They showed us around and took time answering our questions. Definitely a little local gem that deserves to be supported

Visited here, worth half an hour of your time, gives you all the local history of the surrounding area, and it only costs under a pound.

Excellent and unique look at a random collection of local and international articles of interest. Love local places like this, always different and manned by local people who care and who bring unique memories. Being expanded over winter 2016/17. Well worth the £1 entry fee. Don't miss the (unrelated) gallery upstairs either.

We sheltered from the rain, and found a very friendly little museum of local history. With family ties to the area, we found it fascinating to compare then with now. The stories and artefacts made an interesting visit for an hour. Contained in the old Police Station there are still cells and the original equipment to see, and enthusiastic custodians... More

O.k. To get out of the rain. It is situated the middle of the high street, which in itself doesn't have much to offer. High street is a bit rundown. Don't think I will be going back in a hurry.
