Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nice place, helpful lady but really is like the tourist books by City or Armadale, very hard to use and follow as are written for a locals perspective, not someone try into work out where to actually visit moreover the logical way to tour around and see places..

My husband and I went there over the weekend. The lady woring the counter was just a lovely person. I haven't been there in years it has changed a bit, but still has some nice wares to buy. Unfortunately for me I had my husband with me and he stopped my buying lol. My husband was interested in the museum.

My first review on tripadvisor and gee what a place to do it for. The staff here really go out their way to make sure you have everything you need and you genuinely feel like they care it has an extensive brochure range also and the free museum is worth a wander too.

If you are visiting the area the Visitor Centre has an extensive range of printed pamphlets and information from friendly staff who will help you maximise your experience. There is also a small museum attached with vintage machinery if you are into that sort of thing.

Went there to get information about the surrounding area, being in the area for the first time.
Lots of racks holding information about the places of interest. Came attached with a museum.
Was able to get a customised route for walking around the city centre.

We dropped in to the Information centre to find out what we could see in and around Armadale.
The lady was very helpful giving us maps and showing us a really nice scenic drive we could do.
We also really enjoyed the Bert Tyler museum of vintage machinery. It included old farm machinery as well as a very interesting history of communication.
