This is very different from the fauna-orientated rest of the island, but special in it's own way. It may seem a functional port, but beneath the surface there are many things to explore - the church, restaurants, events and there is a generally pleasant atmosphere.

When you sail in and stay the Port of Plaisance you get a different perspective. The port is a busy place and commercially all goods arrive here, but it's great for strolling, watch the fish boats unload, and enjoy the cafes on the wharf.
