Torre di chia and surroundings
Oct. 2018 • Friends
Great panoramicviews and a lovely atmosphere. Where now is the tower was the acropolis of the ancient city of Bithia. You can admire the beaches from the hill. All relaxing and almost idillic

You have a great panoramic view
Jul. 2018 • Couples
Already after a very short walk over a paved street one reaches the tower. Unfortunately it is not possible to climb it.You have a great panoramic view. At night the tower is beautifully illuminated.

Childe Roland to the Dark Tower Came
Apr. 2018 • Couples
This beautifully situated Spanish watchtower offers wonderful views, even from its base. I say that because the tower was indeed dark (i.e., closed for repairs) when we visited. I have heard that the view from the top is spectacular, but I would recommend a visit in any case. Access to the site is easy (we walked up a path from a nearby beach, but there is another paved path that is easier. An additional benefit of visiting the site is a chance to see the remains of the old Punic acropolis of Bithia on the slope below the tower.

Great views from the Tower of Chia
Aug. 2015 • Family
It takes about 10 minutes to walk up to this tour, from which you will have extraordinary views of the beaches near Chia. An video explains the history of the SW Sardinia and of the tours along the coast. Definitely worth the time to walk up to the tour.

Picture perfect
Brilliant view , don't forget ur camera !!
Set off early 7am , Walked from laguna hotel , 20min walk, up the beach, a little trek up the hill through the bushes, they're was a road path but took the short cut from beach .
The tower was actually closed .
But went up the steps and the view was outstanding .
Amazing , perfect time with the sun rising and great view of valley lagoon , and not too hot with the walk.

fantastic view over some beaches of the costa del sud
Jun. 2014 • Couples
the tower of chia offers a grandiose view. on the westside there are four beaches strung together like pearls on a chain the first one is " sa colonia ", the second one is " monte gogoni ", the third one is " campana dune " and the las one called simply "campane". all the beaches are beautiful and a visit is worthwhile.
when the gaze wanders to the opposite side there is one more single bay called " cala chia su portu ", also a beautiful beach wich shines in all types of blue, but the visibvility there is not so good, because the water circulation is very limited due to a narrow tidal inlet. therefore, many floating particles are in the water.
we can recomment the tower of chia very much. the monument gave us a fantastic roundview over the costa del sud.
