Go for 2 days stay instead of 1. It will be more relaxing. Explore the lake walk slowly. The Onsen for The Lake View New Toya Hotel is located on the rooftop and open air. It's views are awesome.

I believe hot spring is not the best attractive in this place, but the view was superb. If you take your hot spring from the lake view side, it is definitely one of the most beautiful moment in your journey.

Prices subject to seasonal changes. There is a free shuttle from the Sapporo Main Stn. Can check with hotel on the reservation. It is a must to make reservation at the time of hotel booking.
