A small zoo, but very good views of most of the animals and birds, enabling excellent photo opportunities. Really good for children and with a petting area with domestic animals. A very good place for relaxing with ample free parking.

Excellent zoo far away from big cities, ensure that you have got several hours of time to visit. Easy access, good parking facilities and accessibility, moderate entrance fees. They breed some animals which you hardly find at other zoos, staff was very friendly answering questions....More

We go here quite often; the children likes it very much, they can see the animals, learn about them and use the play ground as well

This Zoo is nice, my toddler loved it. It's not too big and really fells more like a park, there are several exhibits you actually walk through - like the "Affenwald" (Monkey Forest). Just be careful, these monkeys are very clever and cheeky and love...More

My kids and I had a lovely day, so nice and relaxed, the monkey wood was the best, so much to see, good family day out. Only thing I didn't like was the overpriced restaurant .

If you have yours on a short leash and observe the areas, where you can take them, then I believe they are.
